Tune Jo Na Kaha - New York Movie Lyrics

hmm..
tune jo na kaha main wo sunta raha
khaamkha bewajah khwaab bunta raha

hmm...
tune jo na kaha main wo sunta raha
khaamkha bewajah khwaab bunta raha
jaane kis ki hamein lag gayi hai nazar
is shehar mein na apna thikana raha
door chaahat se main apni chalta raha
khaamkha bewajah khwaab bunta raha

dard pehle se hai zyaada khud se phir ye kiya vaada
khamosh nazrein rahe be zubaan
hmm..
ab na pehle si baatein hai
bolo to lab thartharate hai
raaz ye dil ka na ho bayaan
ho gaya ke asar koi hum pe nahi
hum safar mein to hai humsafar hai nahi
door jaata raha paas aata raha
khaamkha bewajah khwaab bunta raha
hmm...

aaya wo phir nazar aise baat chidne lagi phir se
aankho mein chubhta kal ka dhuan
hmm...
haal tera na hum sa hai
is khushi mein kyun ghum sa hi
basne laga kyun phir wo jahan
wo jahan door jisse gaye the nikal
phir se yaadon ne kar di hai jaise pehal
lamha beeta hua dil dhukhaata raha
khaamkha bewajah khwaab bunta raha

tune jo na kaha main wo sunta raha
khaamkha bewajah khwaab bunta raha
jaane kis ki humein lag gayi hai nazar
is shehar mein na apna thikana raha
door chaahat se main apni chalta raha
bujh gayi aag thi daag jalta raha

Thoughts of VIVEKANANDA

1. Love Is The Law Of Life: All love is expansion, all selfishness is contraction. Love is therefore the only law of life. He who loves lives, he who is selfish is dying. Therefore, love for love's sake, because it is law of life, just as you breathe to live.
2. It's Your Outlook That Matters: It is our own mental attitude, which makes the world what it is for us. Our thoughts make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly. The whole world is in our own minds. Learn to see things in the proper light.

3. Life is Beautiful: First, believe in this world - that there is meaning behind everything. Everything in the world is good, is holy and beautiful. If you see something evil, think that you do not understand it in the right light. Throw the burden on yourselves!

4. It's The Way You Feel: Feel like Christ and you will be a Christ; feel like Buddha and you will be a Buddha. It is feeling that is the life, the strength, the vitality, without which no amount of intellectual activity can reach God.

5. Set Yourself Free: The moment I have realised God sitting in the temple of every human body, the moment I stand in reverence before every human being and see God in him - that moment I am free from bondage, everything that binds vanishes, and I am free.

6. Don't Play The Blame Game: Condemn none: if you can stretch out a helping hand, do so. If you cannot, fold your hands, bless your brothers, and let them go their own way.

7. Help Others: If money helps a man to do good to others, it is of some value; but if not, it is simply a mass of evil, and the sooner it is got rid of, the better.

8. Uphold Your Ideals: Our duty is to encourage every one in his struggle to live up to his own highest idea, and strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the Truth.

9. Listen To Your Soul: You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.

10. Be Yourself: The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves!

11. Nothing Is Impossible: Never think there is anything impossible for the soul. It is the greatest heresy to think so. If there is sin, this is the only sin - to say that you are weak, or others are weak.

12. You Have The Power: All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark.

13. Learn Everyday: The goal of mankind is knowledge... now this knowledge is inherent in man. No knowledge comes from outside: it is all inside. What we say a man 'knows', should, in strict psychological language, be what he 'discovers' or 'unveils'; what man 'learns' is really what he discovers by taking the cover off his own soul, which is a mine of infinite knowledge.

14. Be Truthful: Everything can be sacrificed for truth, but truth cannot be sacrificed for anything.

15. Think Different: All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.

SWINE FLU

Swine Flu

H1N1 (referred to as “swine flu” early on) is a new influenza virus causing illness in people. This virus was originally referred to as “swine flu” because laboratory testing shows it has two genes from flu viruses that normally circulate in pigs in Europe and Asia and avian genes and human genes. The virus has been spread by person-to-person contact.

What is the current situation?

The outbreak of swine flu has now become a pandemic, which means it has spread globally. The virus has spread quickly because it is a new type of virus that few, if any, people have resistance to. Human infection with swine flu (H1N1) viruses has been confirmed in several countries around the globe, including several cases in India. However, Indian doctors are positive and have stated that the swine flu can be treated if caught early with anti viral prescription medicine.

Swine flu – Symptoms – (H1N1 Virus)

The symptoms of swine flu are broadly the same as those of the seasonal or ordinary flu, but may be more severe and cause more serious complications.

The typical symptoms are:
sudden fever, and
sudden cough.

Other symptoms may include:
headache, tiredness, chills, aching muscles, limb or joint pain, diarrhoea or stomach upset,
sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, and Loss of appetite.

Potentially everyone is at risk from swine flu because few people, if any at all, have immunity (resistance) to it.
It is best to contact your Doctor if you suffer from the abovementioned symptoms and avoid self medication.
There are a number of steps you can take to reduce the risk of getting flu and help stop the spread of the virus.

Prevention

There's a simple way to remember this:
CATCH IT. BIN IT. KILL IT.
To reduce the risk of catching or spreading the virus you should:
cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, using a tissue, throw the tissue away

quickly and carefully.
Wash your hands often with soap and water often, especially after you cough or sneeze.
Carry and use hand gel sanitisers / hand wipes while travelling or in locations / places where it is difficult to wash your hands.
Clean hard surfaces (like door handles and remote controls) frequently with a normal cleaning product

Preparation

A global pandemic has been declared. To prepare:
It is advisable to contact your Doctor immediately if you suffer from the above mentioned symptoms and avoid self medication.
always carry tissues - catching the germs in a tissue could help limit the spread of the virus.
Being homebound if infected prevents spread of the virus.
confirm your ‘flu friends’ - these are friends and neighbors who can help you if you become ill; they could get your medication or food for you so that you don’t have to leave the house - this will help stop the virus from spreading.
Please contact your family doctor for any queries / medical advice or refer to the World Health Organisation site for further details :

Motivation Tips When You’re Feeling Depressed

Depression is a difficult illness for even the most iron-willed of individuals. Whether you’re clinically depressed or just in a rut, depression can make basic tasks like cleaning the house, taking a shower and even getting out of bed incredibly difficult and physically and mentally draining. It is important to stay motivated to continue to live your life and work towards feeling better, even when you’re at your lowest point. Here are some simple ways that you can motivate yourself on a daily basis:

• Don’t be too harsh with yourself. It’s going to take time to get things done like you used to and to feel like your old self. Changes are not going to happen overnight, so don’t be overly critical of yourself if you make mistakes or don’t get as much done as you’d like. You’re having a hard enough time without getting on your own case.

• Be realistic. Making a laundry list of things to do is a surefire way to set yourself up for failure. Start with small positive changes and work from there. If you’re not realistic you’ll just end up frustrated and more depressed.

• Surround yourself with people. While you may just want to curl up and be alone, this isn’t the best or easiest route for you when you’re depressed. Having others around you to give you a helping hand, talk to you and provide you with inspiration is important to feeling better and getting back into the swing of things, even if you feel like you just want to shut everyone out.

• Move around. Lying in bed all day or hunkering down on the couch isn’t going to do much but give you more time to feel bad about things. When you force yourself to get up, even if only for a short walk or to tend to some plants outside, you’ll be helping yourself feel better physically and mentally.

• Start a project. For many, this may seem like that last thing they want to do but an enjoyable project can give you something to concentrate on that will bring your thoughts away from depression and give you something to feel proud of when you’re done.

• Make a plan. If even the smallest tasks seem like a chore, start small with planning out what you’re going to do each day. In the morning, write down the things you’d like to accomplish and in the evening, go back and check off what you did. This can help you regain your sense of control over your life at a time when it seems the most chaotic.

Recovering from depression is a hard road, but with some planning and slow but steady progress you may be able to start feeling optimistic about your life again.

'BELIEVING IN MYSELF' – CAN BRING SUCCESS

Confidence, like art, never comes from having all the answers; it comes from being open to all the questions.’- Earl Gray Stevens.
Ever had the blues ’cos you had no shoes? Or the nice house yonder? Or may be the car that you have always dreamed about? Do you find your self-confidence and belief in yourself at an all time low? I do too, sometimes. It is at times like these, that I am reminded about an old verse.
I had the blues because I had no shoes,
Until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet.

Success and failure are part of life; what matters is your ability to keep faith in yourself, even in the midst of adversity. Here is a true story, told by Charles Badenhop, an Aikido instructor from Japan. This is just one story, but its moral is universal; therein lays its appeal. The story is about a businessman who never lost faith despite many failures and repeated setbacks and overcame all odds to emerge successful.

The businessman in the story had to face numerous bankruptcies. After his first bankruptcy he said, “even though my business has failed, I do not feel I have failed. I still have confidence in myself. I still know that I can do something good. I just continue to believe in myself, and in the vision that I have." With the first bankruptcy behind him, he borrowed some more capital, and started a new business, which also went bankrupt in a fairly short period of time. He still did not lose faith. He focused not on what had gone wrong, but on what had worked. He was confident he could still fulfil his dream of becoming successful. He once again borrowed some money to start a new business and managed to go bankrupt again.

After three bankruptcies and big time failures, people started doubting his abilities and sniggered at him behind his back. Despite this, the businessman still refused to throw in the towel. Back on the streets, he could only borrow a very small sum of money from a relative. Not being able to start a "real" business with such a limited amount of cash, he rented a pick-up truck. He shopped around in various wholesale markets and wound up deciding to only buy reasonable quality items that he could sell cheaply. He loaded his goods into the back of his tiny pick-up truck and parked himself on a busy street where he hawked his wares to the passers by. That was the beginning. He went from strength to strength and over time parleyed the success he had with his tiny truck, into a chain of highly successful retail stores.
When asked to what he attributed his success, he replied, "believing in myself, and not picking apart all of my pluses and minuses." He said, "right from the beginning I knew that I could be successful. I knew that the formula for success was already inside of me, and that my job was to find a way to allow this formula to be expressed. I didn't try to understand what to do, I tried to get myself to the point where I was already doing what I needed to do."

We have all heard of people like Abraham Lincoln, Marie Curie, Thomas Alva Edison, Hellen Keller and numerous others who have battled odds to emerge victorious. Almost every highly successful and respected person has had to face disappointment, public ridicule and umpteen failures before he or she could finally taste success. What sets them apart is their never say die spirit and unwavering faith in their ability to succeed. The seeds of failure, when sown in fertile soil, reap success. Here, soil is our attitude and our belief in our selves. It is important that we know ourselves deeply in mind and body. If you know in the heart of your hearts that you have it in you, you should let nothing stand in your way!
Never let defeat have the last word. Ever!

Because "What we believe is True"

YOU CAN

Elephants born in captivity are restrained by a chain that attaches one leg to a metal spike driven into the ground. This prevents them from roaming. They become accustomed to the fact that, as long as the chain and spike are next to them, they are unable to move.

As they grow older, their minds become programmed. When they see the spike and chain, they "believe" and accept that they will not be able to move. They become so conditioned that when their owners place a small rope and wooden peg next to them, they make no effort to step away from it, because they "believe" they are unable to.

In truth, their actual power as adults is so great that they could easily pull up a chain and spike of any size. Their programming or "belief," however, allows this tiny rope and wooden peg to limit their movement.

We are all very much like these elephants. We allow the weaknesses, fears and rejection we experienced as children to program us into a life in which we lack power, peace, love and happiness. We become controlled by false childhood assumptions we have made about our ability, strength and self worth.

We can move away from these "pegs" of self-limitation, but we must chose to do so..

What you believe is true

Chorus:
No matter what they tell us
No matter what they do
No matter what they teach us
What we believe is true

No matter what they call us
However they attack
No matter where they take us
We'll find our own way back

I can't deny what I believe
I can't be what I'm not
I know I'll love forever
I know, no matter what

If only tears were laughter
If only night was day
If only prayers were answered
Then we would hear God say

Chorus

And I will keep you safe and strong
And shelter from the storm
No matter where it's barren
A dream is being born
No matter who they follow
No matter where they lead
No matter how they judge us
I'll be everyone you need
No matter if the sun don't shine
Or if the skies are blue
No matter what the end is
My life began with you

I can't deny what I believe
I can't be what I'm not
I know, I know
I know this love's forever
That's all that matters now
No matter what
